Our story
Started in 2015. Still doing the work.
No funding round. No pivots. Just a decade of shipping real systems for real businesses.
SoftG was founded in 2015 as a counter-position to the typical software agency: instead of subcontracting work and selling promises, we kept the team small and the engineers senior.
Over the next ten years we built ERP platforms, AI assistants, marine simulation systems, retail e-commerce stacks, and internal tooling for clients across Cyprus, Canada and beyond. The engineer on your first call is still the one who writes the code. No offshore handoff. No account managers. No PMs reading from a script.
Today we work as an Odoo Gold Partner and as a custom software studio — usually both at once. We pick problems where the gap between what's possible and what's shipped is the largest.
2015
SoftG founded
Nicosia, Cyprus. First clients: local SMBs migrating from spreadsheets to proper ERP.
2018
Odoo partner program
Joined the official Odoo partner network. Custom-module practice formalized.
2020
Research practice opened
Marine pollutant simulation platform built with environmental scientists.
2022
Canada office
Ontario office opens. Follow-the-sun coverage across two time zones.

Our engineers stay on a project from kickoff through go-live and beyond. We don't disappear after launch — the team that built it is the team that maintains it for as long as you need.

Right-sized teams. No bloat, no hand-offs.
Most projects need 2–4 senior people, not 12. Smaller teams move faster, communicate better, and don't need a project manager to translate between groups.
03 / DURABILITY
Built to last past the launch party.
We optimize for code that's still maintainable in three years — not for the fastest possible time to launch. Boring choices, documented decisions, and one less headache for whoever inherits the codebase.

What an engagement actually looks like.
Most engagements follow this rhythm. Each step is owned by a senior engineer, not handed off.

Scoping call — 30 minutes, no slides
You talk to an engineer, not a salesperson. We figure out fit, scope, and whether we're the right team. If we're not, we'll tell you and recommend someone better.

Written proposal — within 48 hours
Concrete scope, milestones, price band, and a list of things we'd push back on. No "from $X" pricing. No surprise change-orders later.

Sprint kickoff — week one, on the codebase
We commit directly to your repo from day one. You get a working build before week two, even if it's rough. Show, don't tell.
04
Weekly demo — not a status report
Every Friday, a working build with what shipped that week. No 40-slide decks. Decisions are made in 20 minutes; we go back to building.

Go-live — then we stay
The team that built it is the team that maintains it. We're still answering email three years after launch — ask any of our oldest clients.
